Device upgraded to ROS 5.21 (originally came with 5.6, old MAC prefix 000C42 so probably one of the earlier devices), firmware 3.0 - the built-in temperature sensor always shows 39C to 40C, no matter if the device was at room temp (about 20C) or outside (about 7C right now). Is this a known issue with the OmniTik, or just the one I have. It’s already high on the mast so I’ll probably not bother to RMA it anyway just for this (main use is outdoor switch + 5GHz spectral scans).
BTW, would be very useful to have a similar device but with 2.4GHz radio instead of 5GHz. Could be used to power other 5GHz radios (often sectors or panels, as 5GHz omnis usually don’t work too well) at small repeater sites, while the 2.4GHz omni would be mostly for hotspot, advertising (SSID visible on phones) etc. - basically combined RB750UP with outdoor enclosure and 2.4GHz radio as a single low cost device.
