On pluging in Internet cable goes in to bootloop.

I live in a private house next to 9 story building from which the ethernet cable comes. Yesterday a lightning hit very close to where I live. After that my mikrotik hex rb750gr3 started to bootloop. Once I plug out Internet cable it boots up fine, local network works just fine. I connect internet cable to a pc or other routers and they work just fine. If I plug in a cable from other router in to hEX internet port the same bootloop starts. Factory reset doesnt help. Is there any test I can run or has anyone faced similar issues? I suspect some component is dead. 2 year warranty is over. I understand that most likely I will have to get a new one. I just wonder maybe there is something that can be done. Also im surprised that the ISP hardware on the other end survived.

On MT devices it’s possible to use any port as WAN port. Reconfiguration is not trivial, but not too hard either.

Port, marked as internet, is on hEX special because it’s PoE in as well … so it’s slightly different than the rest of ports. Perhaps this makes it more sensible to voltage surges?
