Equipment Information:
Model: CCR1072-1G-8S+, Uptime: 19h11m, Version: 6.49.17 (stable), CPU: 72 cores (tilegx) at 1000MHz with a load of 16%, Memory: 14.6GiB free out of 15.8GiB, Storage: 64.6MiB free out of 128.0MiB, Client count: 1700.
Problem:
We are facing mass disconnections of clients at certain times of the day. Despite several mitigation efforts, the issue persists, and the source is unclear.
Revisions and Actions Taken:
Firewall: We detected attacks and mitigated them by updating the firewall rules multiple times.
Links: The network links were checked and improved, but disconnections continue.
CPU Usage: The CPU load remains low (below 20%), so it’s not due to overload.
Hardware: We replaced the physical router hardware, but the problem remained.
PPPoE Configuration: The PPPoE settings were thoroughly reviewed and rechecked.
Router, OLT, and PPPoE server configurations: All configurations were reset.
Client Queues: We reviewed the queues for each PPPoE client, but this didn’t resolve the issue.
At this point, I’m uncertain what else to inspect or modify. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or can suggest further checks or actions to help resolve this?
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
