I don’t know what’s happening exactly, but one (or some) device(s) on my CRS226-24G-2S+ sometimes only get connected with 100 mbit/s instead of 1 gbit/s.
I’m only sure it happens to my iMac, I think it has happened to other devices as well, but I changed those Ports to 1 GBit/s only and didn’t have any problems anymore so far. But it happenes on a daily basis with my iMac.
Maybe it has something to do with sleepmode and waking up the iMac with WOL? Not sure either. I only know I have to reset the port to get 1 GBit/s again. This has never happened with the switch I used before. I have replaced the cable already, no change.
Anybody had similar problems? I tried to only advertise 1 GBit/s full duplex on this port as well, but then, I didn’t have any link at all.
