Only from 10 to 25Mbit/s per one connetcion in NV2

I think it’s a bug. In WDS mode p2p if user download in once connection he has from 10 to 30 Mbit. If i change mode to nstream he has 62Mbit/s per 1 connection.
Can it be fixed?
Version 5.10 Ptp with wds mode. Only g 2,4 Ghz 40 Mhz
Per 10 connection in tcp we reached 85Mbit/s.
Thx for help

please provide more info on your setup. What hardware are you using for this setup? what utility you use for testing the speed?

I use routerboard 433AH + Chipset 5213. Link p2p with WDS.
Testing with downbload from ftp or from bandwith test

make multiple support output files when you do those test:

  1. when you use Nv2 and send one connection
  2. when you use Nv2 and send 10 connection
  3. when you use Nstreme and send one connection

Send those files to support@mikrotik.com

The test is done from the windows PC that is connected to your RB433AH board? and the bandwidth test is also made from the windows?

it’s not a bug its normal for nv2
for p2p just use nstream
nv2 is for p2mp test it with 5 or 10 clients than u will see the benefit of nv2

I’ll send to support in few day, i can’t experement with working link.
I also have benedit in p2p link. I have 85 mbit but in nstream 70. Realy 15Mbit/s and it’s better work’s with noise.
If in nstream in some frequency i had 50Mb-60Mbit/s in Nv2 i always had 80-85.

Nv2 is also good for point-to-point installations. Will wait for the support output files.

Hi, I know the answer from support? Basically, all connections with NV2 behave worse than the Nstreme, if used only a single connection. It’s bad, because all clients use the speed tests that use a 1 connection.

THX

Please write to support@mikrotik.com we will provide you with a test release of v5.9 which has lot of improvements using Nv2.

There are news about this topic? I have the same problem with nv2 connections.
