only half duplex in 10Mbps Ethernet

Hi all! I wonder, I have device hAP lite. I tried to get full duplex speed at 10 Mbps mode, but I couldn’t. Only half duplex! Did anybody hear about it ?

Set all interfaces to autonegotiation and try to change the cable.

No, it is only for test. For FastEthernet and GigabitEthernet is it ok - full duplex, but not for 10base-T. Try to get 10 Mbps full duplex in your device. I couldn’t do it, on any of my device - CRS and hAP. Maybe is it bug ? )

Have you tried a different device too? The computer or laptop or printer or whatever you are trying to connect? Have you forced that end to 10M full duplex too? Typically you either want both ends set to auto or both ends forced to the same speed and duplex. If you force speed and duplex to 10 full on the router you should also force the same on the other end.

You are all right! I set up 10M full duplex to both interface, and I’ve got full duplex speed. Thank you!

Huh… I just found this in the 6.40rc2 release notes

*) ethernet - fixed forced 10Mbps full-duplex linking on 100Mbps Ethernet ports;

If you still have problems it looks like there is a fix coming… or here if you don’t mind running RCs
