Okay guys, I goofed up. I have a client with a hex as their router and an hAP as a bridge for a few internal devices.
I was trying to move the bridge to a static IP and I think I may have assigned the IP to ether1, while the bridge0 has the same IP via dhcp client.
I can see the device via Neighbors, but it is not responding to Pings, Mac-Pings, or Mac-Telnet.
Any idea to get back in without having to drive out there and reset to defaults?

Can you change IP obtained by DHCP client tweaking dhcp server ?
I suppose I can, but the lease time is set for 30 days.
I think I’ll just have to suck it up and drive out to the client in the morning.
Just ask user to power it off/on. Does his location work ? If not then you cannot screw it up more
EDIT: I forgot the time zone difference … the User can sleep already
powercycle didn’t fix it. I was unable to connect via VPN or even WiFi. but ti responded instantly to an ethernet connection. Deleted the IP and renewed the lease and all is good.
I suppose I should use Safe Mode more often
