Open ftp service on firewall rules

Dear all,

in a routerbaord 411, how can I open the FTP service in and out through the mikrotik firewall?
The defualt setting is to stop this access?

there is no default setting. you simply need to set up NAT forwarding, so that the FTP connection attempts are forwarded to a specific address inside your private network. DST-NAT is used for that. Please see an example in the manual: http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/3.0/qos/nat_content.php#.3.3

the link that I gave you has an example just like you need (for masquerading), it’s near the bottom “Example of Destination NAT”
