Open url / link from Hotspot login page in a browser

Hi Mikrotik,

Let me try to explain the situation and what we are trying to do here…

Note: Environment - Mobile Device iOS/Android

  1. We have a login page set up, all working well, login/logout etc.
  2. We have a link within the login page, this link is clickable/ working as intended.
  3. The link is a website address and is already in Wall Garden, and able to be navigated as expected.

What we trying to do

  1. We simply would like to - when the visitor click the link, it will open the website in a browser (Safari or Chrome) instead of opening it inside the popup hotspot page / microbrowser

This is entirely dependent on the client device and not something you can configure.
