I freaked out this morning when I went into PPP settings looking for how to create new SSL certificate and saw two open VPN sessions, one 159 days old and one 40 days old. I was sure I had been hacked. When I looked up the IP addresses they turned out to correlate to places I had been at the time the connections started. So best I can tell a OpenVPN bug? Or a feature? I was under the (mistaken?) impression that there is a keep alive which is used to close sessions after no activity for xx minutes? Not 100+ days?!! Any advice?
