I am trying to understand how to configure an OpenVPN client on Router OS to connect to OpenVPN on CentOS 6. I am using Digital Ocean’s offering. Nice thing about Digital Ocean is that you get real CentOS under VmWare and 10 TB of transfer per month. Gave up on PrivateInternetAcess.com and OVH.com as speeds are slow and/or customer service is non existent.
So I have installed the OpenVPN server on the CentOS VPS and the client on Windows7.
But where to I install the required options and certificates in the MikroTik router?
Ovpn is not yet clearly demonstrated and is unclear.
We expect a clear presentation.
How to configure Ovpn.
Who can make a clear presentation and unsubscribe?

I’ve spent a fair bit of time trying to get a CCR to act as an OpenVPN server with a linux client today and it’s been a long time since I struggled so much with anything within networking.. (Opposite of what the OP is trying to do, but I guess it’s all the same battle…)
Is there ANY current howto on how to setup a simple CA and a self-signed certificate and then make it work with RouterOS? I’ve found tons of howto’s, but none of them seems 100% current and non seem to work.
