hi, I recently switched to mikrotik and can say that I’m new here. I have already tried 3 mikrotik routers, but only on HAPAX3 I can’t set up openvpn. respectively it can be set, but a strange problem occurs: the vpn client connects and the router knows about it, but it cannot transfer any data either to the LAN or to the Internet. I’ve been solving this for a long time and I really don’t know where I’m going wrong. I compare it with the hex (mmips) configuration where it worked for me, but it simply doesn’t work for me on ahpAX3 (ARM64).

You are missing the PPP profile your config refers to.

Such a quick answer to what we have solved for other people is that: PPP>OPENVPN Server>Redirect Gareway>def1
and with PPP>Profiles you have to define the local address (of the router) and the remote ip pool, for example VPN, that’s the thing that is set in the pool or you hard-assign the address. bridge leaning enabled. and then the dns server at the end… the rest is on the video that is on youtube… And if you have any questions, feel free to write to me or join the MIKROTIK discord.
