I have a problem with OpenVPN between 2 Mikrotik routers - scenario:
Not working:
OVPN server: RB433AH, ROS 5.0
OVPN client: RB750, ROS 5.0/5.1
Working:
OVPN server: RB433AH, ROS 5.0
OVPN client: RB750, ROS 4.17
Configuration is totally the same in both of scenarios.
In the no-working scenario, when I have disabled interface OVPN client, everything is working correctly. If I enable the OVPN client interface, Mikrotik is trying to connect to OVPN server 1-3-times/second, CPU comes up to 100%, the most CPU usage is on process “console”. Is this problem related to problem with some switch chipset in topic “RouterOS 5.1 out”?
There is no special configuration for OVPN - authentification over username/password, OVPN is working 100% on version 4.17 on client.
