I have been trying to follow the instructions here to setup an OpenVPN server on my Mikrotik: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/OpenVPN
But… I got stopped at pretty much the first command because the “/certificate create-certificate-request” command now asks for a template. I have spent a lot of time looking into this and since I don’t have much experience with certificates and since I can’t find anything that says “do exactly this for setting up OpenVPN” I am at a loss. Can someone update the Wiki or reply here with an update on how to get the certificate stuff setup, that would be awesome.
I am seeing a lot of other posts on the forums with this same or very similar issues and usually the response is “just use /certificate add name=something…” but they don’t go into any details on what those values should be.
