OpenVPN stops responding

Hi all,

I keep coming across this problem / bug whereby OpenVPN stops responding.

I have it all setup fine and working, but it is in an experimental stage. From time to time I’m changing something like the certificate, or possibly moving from port 1194 to port 443. I find that often when I make a change via Winbox to the OpenVPN config, OpenVPN stops responding until I reboot. I try to rectify by disabling and enabling OpenVPN, reverting the change, etc, but nothing works except a reboot.

I’m getting the same results with 3.19 and 3.22.

I can confirm this problem with v3.22. After some experimenting with the settings I could no longer reach OpenVPN until the routerboard (RB155) was restarted.

I have the same pb with RB450 3.20 . I just upgrade to 3.23. I will send you a feedback.

I have this problem also with a Routerboard 493. OpenVPN stops responding after 20 to 30 days and I have to reboot the Routerboard to get it working again. I’m using version 4.11.
