OpenVPN to pfSense

Hi guys,

i have some questions regarding openvpn site2site connection to pfsense.
i have one pfsense with openvpn on my destination running, and there is one pfsense client already connecting fine to it.

now i want to establish a conection from one new routeros site to pfsense, but it fails already with the import of the certificates.

there are three certificates i have to import…one *.key, one *.pks12 and one *.cert file.

if i try to import one these files (same as winbox and command line) the routeros ask me for a passphrase, but i didn’t provide something like that on the destination site.

so…whats my problem?

sorry…but i want to start learning router os till now and i don’t have any experience doing it.

Did you ever get a response on this? I’m in the same position!

I couldn’t get certificate imports to work either when using p12, p7, etc. Instead I always save the cert and key seperately in pem files.

I import the cert, then import the key, and routeros figures out to match up the key with cert.

Then for security, delete the pem files from mikrotik’s.
