Openwrt on RB493AG?

Anyone heard if this can be done? I have tried to build the kamikaze trunk for the AR71xx but the ethernet ports are not found during the ag71xx_mdio: probe on bootup. I know it’s been done on the RB433 but the 493 has an IP178c switch chip, not the more familiar IP175c–that may be the problem.

I have the RB493AG up and running as a switch and wireless AP using RouterOS 3.15 level 5 and it’s working fine, but I’d really like to run kamikaze.

Why do you need that for? I managed to run debian in chroot environment using my prebuild .npk package :wink:
