Is it possible to get Option 82 information across a link using a wAP 60Gx3 (or a wAP 60G) and clients? We use Option 82 in our network to authorize clients. Our Cambium and Mimosa equipment will pass along Remote Agent ID data but I am not able to get this working with 60G gear. I’ve tried turning on Option 82 on the Station Bridge end (by turning it on in the Bridge settings) but when I do this, DHCP data will not pass through to the client and anything plugged into the Eth1 port won’t get a DHCP IP.
If I turn it on the AP on the bridge, nothing comes across for Agent or Remote ID. Maybe I am missing something or maybe Option 82 is not an option for 60G gear?
