Anyone can help me to use the DHCP server option 82.
From the log I have seen that the relay-agent-info it’s correct, but it’s like the server isn’t able to use this information…
I have copied the relay-agent-info string inside the value field in the DHCP server → option menu but the client take an address different from what I have setted.
Suggestions?
Could you please provide some more info on your network layout?
Wouldn’t it be better to use a different IP range for the new DHCP server, and use NAT?
Are you sure there’s not another DHCP server on the same network segment?

I am experiencing the same issue. I have set up the options with option 82 in the DHCP options tab, however it still does not seem to be returning the option82 formated replies. I see when googling this issue this morning that there is a reference to agent.circuit-id is also known as option 82, but I cannot find the values that I should be putting in there. Is anyone able to offer any suggestions
