Good Evening,
I am sorry for “another site to site” question.
I currently have 2 RB750 hEx connected with an OPVN connection. Site A, has a static IP address, Site B has a dynamic. I am trying to pass multicast traffic from Site B back to Site A and visa-versa.
I would like to limit what multicast ports are going from Site B to Site A, but everything from Site A can come back to Site B.
Here is where I will show my ignorance, if I have not already. Eth1 is my WAN connection on both routers, eth2 is where the multicast networks are connected on either end. I have tried to bridge from Eth2 to my OPVN connection, bridge between eth1 and eth2, build a tunnel and bridge to that tunnel… I am not having very much luck and I need a push in the right direction.
Thank you!
The reason I went with cheaper routers to start with is because this is a basic proof of concept project I am doing just to see if it is feasible. What, if any, packet loss, jitter, delays, etc.. are experienced and can we live with it to be able to drop our expensive T-1 connection and just use the public internet to make the same thing happen.
