OS 3.28 on RB450G dropping connections

Hello,

I have purchaged 3 RB450G routerboards and they work really well i have to say.
However some times the router seems to be dropping connections every minute or so cousing a lot of instability in the network. i have tryed increasing the connection tracking times perhaps they where timing out but that doesnt seem to help.

what other factors should i look for is there a connection limit to the lvl 4 license

its a single RB450G connected to varius switches and two dsl modems one primary one backup (no loadbalancing or equaly cost routing)

i dont see any increase in CPU usage or menmory usage only thing that might be related to it is the activity of a torrent client im told its always active but i cant track its activity

the router has about 250 to 260 connections its handling averiging 3 % cpu and 8 % HD usage so its not working really hard ehter

EDIT: forgot to mention that there also is no significant load on the dsl connections in ether direction.

all services connect initialy and wil work wel for days and then suddenly it starts dropping again (verry iritating when your on the phone)

so any suggestions as to what other factiors might be at play here or things i should look into

I am having a lot of problems with 450g on any OS. I have been upgrading directly to 3.28 and still having issues. 3.23 seems very unstable too.

Mac-Telnet is hit or miss.
Had problems with importing data into the Firewall → Nat list. It will only import some of the rules and not others. Seems to only import the first 6 or 7 no matter what kind of rule.
Backups don’t work correctly on 3.23 when using a Meta-Router. They do on 3.28 though.
Basically right now the 450g does not seem stable.

well i dont seem to have as many problems as you do. to me it apears quite stable the only problems i encounter are that it suddenly will start dropping connections so people complain there calls get cut of or their messengers constantly are logging on and of. you notice it to while browsing you might have to clikc a link several times and a page might not load compleatly but the biggest problems are with voip and messenging connections.
