OS Upgrade Failed

I just tried upgrading an RB150 from 2.9.43 to 3.3. I got the following errors;

I then tried a netinstall and it failed with the following error;

Anyone know the next step to recover this board?

Thanks…

Here is some updated info. I just tried upgrading a 133 from 3.2 to 3.4 and got the same results.

Is it possible Mikrotik released a broken OS. It seems like 2 out of 2 failures is not good.

Redownload the package. Bet that will fix it.

I couldn’t re-download the packages because the net boot gave a Kernel panic and there was not OS to boot from so it always tried booting from the network.

I finally got it by reloading the board’s BIOS and then downloading the OS.

There have been a number of failures, hows this, an uncommonly high number in upgrading to 3.4

That’s why we provide MD5 checksums for files, so you know that package has arrived exactly as we served it:
http://www.mikrotik.com/download/routeros-md5-3.4.txt

In your case, the system package was bad. You have to use Netinstall with re-downloaded packages to restore your router.

Upgrade routerboard firmware from routerboard.com via serial console (Xmodem) and then install routeros via netinstall .
