Ospf 3.10 BUG: Database Description packet has different mas

Weird fix…
We had a link doing this exact thing. We have a script that will go to a local network server, and fetch a new OS. Trying to pass this data we would disconnect. We changed the link from 40mhz turbo(which would pass 40mbps(tcp) duplex before the change or even when the OSPF wasn’t working) to 20mhz. After this change our link came up, and didn’t have an issue.

During the change we tried protocol’s first, however this was to no avail. However the simple channel width change seemed to fix our issues.

What was really weird is all the Btest’s I did, and all the pings would go through our network without issues, and no disconnect. Only when I ran my “fetch” script would it disconnect.

Anyway, any help here I thought might be worth posting.

Edit: We’re using 5.7os, and 5.7os, both RB433ah’s, both xr-5’s.
