Dear All,
I have 2 internet connection, cable (512kbps international, 5.5mbps local links) + satellite (512kbps, cheaper
).
I’m thinking of having these two links to be bonded to achieve higher bandwidth rate.
The point i’m doing this is actually to split between download & browsing.
I’m currently using MT 2.9.27 with BGP ‘preconfigured’ with local AS number, with dynamic routing to local link, while any other than the dynamic ip will go via International (tunnelled, via Cable)
As for splitting the download, i have to monitor each users (about 60users) and registered the possible download IPs to an address list then mangle, then mark routing to SATELLITE. But then after marking endless download IPs, and i find that this isn’t the right way to do so. Maybe LOAD BALANCING can do? (HOW?
)
Been reading in the forum about how to split download & browsing gave me no solution.
Is there any other option to do this?
Would OSPF or BGP do the job? (are they considered as LOAD BALANCE?)
I have a very little knowledge about networking. Any advice & links would be much appreciated.
