OSPF BIG PROBLEM in v3rc11

Hi,

I added v3 to my network , but just to few routers coz i expected problem with stuff like this.

I tried to add new area to my network…
I noticed when try to add new area , area id 0.0.0.2 type nssa Mikrotik says it’s not yet implemented.
On 2.9.4x that is his neighbor i add sucesfully.
i was disappointed but what the hell..
so i redesign my network( on paper ofcourse :slight_smile: ) for type stub and tried to add , then my router cpu goes to 100% just when i clicked OK.
I tried same on other machine that run v3, but same shit happens :frowning:
ospf with one area type default and backbone run with no problems on same router with same v3rc11 and his neighbors v2.9.4x , v3rc11 etc..
and this time i will not send supout , you make it , i buy it , dont work ? test it , fix it …

Well nssa area type is not available since first v3.0, simply it’s not implemented.

Ok if is that so , why then mikrotik team suggest me to put v3 now when something dont work as shoud.

I don’t have any problems changing area type from default to stub.
Maybe reset config and try from scratch?

I dont think so.
I dont play with network , i dont reset config when something like this dont work.
anyway , they will solve.
