OSPF configuration problems using winbox

I have Router Version 2.9.42. I’m trying to configure OSPF between 3 routers. I’m having trouble with adding and removing Networks and Areas using winbox. It doesn’t seem to remove areas that I have added or remove networks that I want to remove. Sometimes the boxes that I open to configure areas and network stay open instead of closing when I click on OK. When I reboot the router I may or may not have areas or networks that I have tryed to change. Seems after making changes you don’t know what you will have.

Help.

Is the same happens if you do it in console?

I am reporting a problem with Winbox. I don;t know if the problem exists using the CLI or not. I have limited experience using the CLI. The problem I have is programing OSPF with Winbox and it occurs on all three routers that I’ve configured for one of my companys. They have all been upgraded to version 2.9.42.

I installed these routers three years ago and they have been working perfectly using static routes instead of a routing protocol. This was the first time that I attempted to configure OSPF on these.

I put the static routes back in place. I removed all OSPF configurations at this point. When I clicked on the mius button to remove thel OSPF statements they would not show being removed at times. When they didn’t appear to be remove I rebootied the router. I had to do this multiple times and it occured on all three routers.

Has anyone else been having this problem with WinBox?
