Ospf flapping

Hello Experts.

I have setup OSPF and is working well, expect on one area where i have 2 wireless links.

Between router 1 and 2, i have 4 wireless BH which connect this link, the wireless device IP are on the same block, /29 These are 2 air Fiber wireless link point to point.

At times this part of network just cannot be reached, all these 6 IP cannot be pinged. Until i restart either Router 1 or 2. Errors i have seen are :

packet has different master status flag, new master flag = false.

This network can be ok for days and suddenly be unreachable, till i restart one of the routers.

Any idea whats causing this ?

What mode are you running your OSPF in ? Broadcast , NBMA , P2P ? I’ve pretty much had to force all my Wireless links to run in OSPF P2P Mode due to links getting stuck in ExStart or 2 Way.

i am running on p2p mode, when i reboot they would all work for some time and then all this subnet is not reachable.
