Since version 7 I could not make LSA-5 get transitioned from backbone area to any other default area. It use to works smoothly on any V6 but since V7 it does not work anymore.
Is there anyway to fix it?
OSPF has changed. Show your v6 configuration and the new v7 so we can check it
It is a simple configuration like: 3 routers in the backbone area. all them redistributing connected-routes and R1 generating default route. The network 192.168.10.0/24 or default route are not getting to any area1 routers. For example:
I see the LSA-5 getting to the area1 R13 but the router simply decide do not install it on the FIB.
It's not possible to provide help without the router export of the configuration.
I told you the configuration. What possible could be wrong? area1 in stub mode or filters? All areas are default mode and no filters applied. By default external routes should be imported by any router in default mode areas. So tell me what could possible cause this issue.
