OSPF on 3.10 (PowerRouter 732) and Cisco 7204 (gigabit link)

Cisco gigabit link to the PowerRouter 732 went down
Aug 26 09:55:03: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 1, Nbr 206.83.242.125 on GigabitEthernet0/3 from FULL to DOWN, Neighbor Down: Dead timer expired
Aug 26 09:55:26: %LINEPROTO-5-UPDOWN: Line protocol on Interface GigabitEthernet0/3, changed state to down
Aug 26 09:56:36: %OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 1, Nbr 206.83.242.121 on GigabitEthernet0/3 from LOADING to FULL, Loading Done

then came right back up

however not all the OSPF routes were transmitted from the PowerRouter to the Cisco

I had to disable then reenable the VLAN interfaces on the Mikrotik for it to reannounce the routes to the Cisco.

Any ideas on why that is? This has happened once before. A simple disable/enable on the VLAN fixed it immediately…but the question is why…

hmm I just noticed the neighbor ID changed…

Might want to set your neighbor iD, also, hard set the link speed to 1000meg Full duplex on both units.

yeah after I noticed that I am going to do that next maintenance period.

Thanks!
