i need help on how to setup ospf on my network. the current setup is this:
router A is located in area A and has 1 ethernet card connected to ADSL ethernet port, and a 5ghz wireless card.
Router B is located in Area B and has 3 ethernet card + 3 wireless cards 2 of the cards are 5ghz xr5 cards and the other is a 2.4ghz card. one of the 5ghz card in router B is transmiting to router A and picks the internet link from A and distributes to the entire network.
PROBLEM:
i want to subscribe to another ADSL connection from Another location – AREA C some kilometers away from AREA A. and also setup another point say AREA D which will pick the second link from AREA C to AREA B which will distribute to the entire network – in the event that AREA A is not reachable then all clients can feed from AREA C automatically.
please how do i go about this setup?

That layout with the areas makes no sense. Areas have numbers, not letters, and if you have more than one area then all areas must connect to the backbone area 0. In your drawing that isn’t the case.
Set up your areas correctly and introduce two ASBRs, both of which inject a default route into the OSPF AS. Manually set the cost and make it an external type 2 route (so that the cost is just the external cost), and prefer which one you want to be the primary. The higher cost default will then kick in when the primary Internet link fails and the external route goes away.
sorry i did not mention earlier that i do not have ospf running on my network now. i read on the net that ospf can give me a failover solution. in my country, electricity is not stable and not consistent at all, so i want to introduce another site (C) in this case where i can get another link from my service provider as a backup. so that the entire network do not only depend on site A. please i am completely new to this ospf, bgp stuffs so please a little breakdown of the solution will be appreciated thanks.
