Is anyone willing to write down simple example of setting up OSPF in small Mikrotik network (two or three Mikrotik routers)?
good idea, i really need a simple ospf exemple too !
RouterOS manual has very simple OSPF configuration
the simpliest configuration:
Routing → OSPF → Settings → Redistribute Connected routes = as type 1
Routing → OSPF → Networks → Add
The best example I have found that walks you through exactly what to do and what to expect is on http://www.trangobroadband.com They actually use some of MT hardware in their MESH system and have created documentation on their HD MESH which basically tells you how to setup what you want with OSPF.
But - just play with it, once you do it will no longer be intimidating. Its very simple.
