I have 3 other admins connecting to Dude (3.0b7) running as a service on a server. Only I can arrange panes in my view by clicking on the icons (right, left, down, up), the others cannot. Even after giving them the “full” right the are still unable to arrange their dektops. Their clicking on the icons does nothing. They can have only 1 view and change it’s content by dragging from the left tree.
Probable my misconfiguration (for example don’t know what “Separate panels” exactly does) or bug or desired behaviour? Thanx for any clues.
PS: What least account policies are needed for panes management? Can a “read” admin arrange his panes?
I’ve just found out the problem is probably somewhere else. The other admins cannot do any editing operation even after giving them the “full” right. The Dude says “Operation not permitted”.
I’m the only one who can write configuration. Probably, I’m God…

ok, I made a new admin user in the admins menu with group=full. logged in as this user, added some devices, changed them. looks like it’s working. did you do it differently?
Yes, I tried the same sequence but now everything behaves odd. Newly created admin has always full access regardless of the settings. Already existed admins has always read access regardless of the settings . A little bit strange behaviour . Do you think I could edit the XML backup file and try to tidy it up according the admins settings?
i saw the same problem, even after setting the new user to full control (all policies are marked) the user still cannot change anything or set the pannels as he wishes…
