Got the incoming PPTP working brilliantly, except we cant make VPN connections going out the office!!!
Any ideas???
Have you got any debug info?
How far does the connection get?
How are you routing out?
Are you using NAT/Public IPs. If the former, what’s doing the NAT?
etc. etc.
One of our guys who is trying to access another offices VPN is using a Windows XP laptop, they can connect to the VPN fine via a mobile broadband stick, but as soon as they plug into our network, it hangs on connecting and then just fails, this is why i’m thinking its something i havent done properly in the MT.
At the moment we are using the MT as a PPPoE client connected to a 2Wire router (which is now esssentially a PPPoE passthrough)
I’ve masqueraded our 192.168.0.0 network and have enabled gre traffic and opened port 1723, all working fine incoming, just not outgoing??
Is there any rules i need to add…
