Overclocking RB112

Hi,

I found this topic:

Can anyone confirm this ?
If yes, can You make any photos ?

Thanks,
MJ

The information suplied is mistaken! 1kHz resistor??? second grade physics. Resistors → ohms not hz  So you may experiment with kΩ resistors and let us know buddy

Good luck

Infineon reports that it will not be stable if you do this, but well - it’s your router and you are free to try.

Well this is rebelliously too late, but for those interested, this does work.

The rb112 are really too underpowered to do anything with and we have a room full of them, hence trying to revive them for something simple.

I would however like to know what is meant by not stable?
Ive been running a bandwidth test for hours thus far.

in that case - it works for you

Is it maybe just a matter of cooling?
As you can see because the board is underpowered i actually don’t use one of the Mini-PCI’s and have opted to attach a mini heat sink to the CPU. “Just In-case”
