I have a CCR2004 facing a Reyee NBS3200-48GT4XS-P switch via an Huawei 10Gbps DAC cable.
Reyee switch port flow monitor reports 100000+ “oversized packets”.
What could it mean ? Is it an issue ? Can I verify this on CCR side ?
No default MTU are changed on both machines.
Is the link otherwise working OK? (i.e. no packet loss)
“oversized packets” can also be caused by bit errors on the link that cause the end-of-packet flag to be corrupted and thus the next packet is seen as a continuation of the first.
Link works ok with no packet loss…
