I need to oversubscribe several internet services through Optic Fiber (OF), so I have 5 clients and they want a 5M bandwidth of internet, so far each one of them has OF up to their house, but now I would like to oversubscribe the 5 clients in 10M, giving them 5M to each one, making them fight for the bandwidth. For which I bought a CCR1036 device that has 4 SFP and 12 Ethernet.
So, this is what I have done til now; I just put it in the SFP1 10M of the internet through FO and I have connected in the SFP2 an output fiber through which I would create the tunnels of each 5M internet service to my client’s homes (obviously I would have to create data vlan to inject the internet) and finally connected a patchcord in the Eth1 to my laptop to configure and test the internet, but I tried to configure the CCR and I do not get it, tried it in router mode leaving the SFP as an internet gateway and configuring a DHCP, Bridge, etc … but without any success, no internet access, nor can I remotely access the computer.
Maybe, the CCR is well configured but I cannot access to the internet by OF? Will it be possible to configure the OF to give access to the internet? Or the reason is that the Firewall has not been configured? Maybe the SFP can not be configured for internet access but only for output? Should I have to put the internet via Eth and then take it out through OF? Does this makes any sense to you?
