OVPN-Unsupported UDP

Anyone knows why ovpn does not support UDP?

Because MikroTik did not implement it and only they know why. But don’t despair, things are definitely improving:

OpenVPN is very very buggy and hard to implement. Our developers almost all committed suicide trying to make it work. It’s a big mess, so we can’t continue to implement it 100%

The problem is integrating it with the rest of RouterOS, which caused us major problems. We are working on them, and will try to make UDP support in future.

I’m an optimist, I belive that we’ll have full OpenVPN (it’s not only udp what is missing) before 2020.
