Own permission

Hi, maybe si here but i cand find it with search.. I need setting my own permission for ex. table filter rules and i need make permission group that are can ONLY enable and disable som rules (it would be better the user with this group permission can enable/disable rule 1-20 ) sry for bad eng..

Hmm, blankly i need add group as winbox,policy,test,....

Or if can be the "mod".. this enable/disable function can be able on vpn.. or no? (i connect on vpn and rule enable.. and after i disconnect rule disable.. something as watchdog function)

it’s not possible to have permissions only for parts of configuration. the user can either make changes, or he can’t. more information about group settings: http://www.mikrotik.com/testdocs/ros/2.9/guide/aaa_users.php

ok, so can be my question accomplished by VPN?

what does VPN have to do with permissions? VPN is a secure tunnel, it can’t deny access to parts of the configuration

Hi,

Hmm… maybe this would be helpful. You can use MetaRouter feature and give access to virtual router. Of course users can do everything on virtual router but they don’t break your configuration (on real router) - so you can put those rules on it and user can disable/enable those rules on demand.
