P2P Unstable

I have a P2P connection with 2 SXT G-5HnD. Both are running RouterOS 5.24 version.
They are about a 150meter apart. So this is not a big distance that needs to be transmitted.

The LOS is pretty good. Its on a small harbor and some masts of the boots are in the LOS. But no sails at this moment.

On the P2P connection I have an MPLS connection for from VLAN’s that transfer 2 VLAN’s to the other side. My MGMT VLAN and the “Internet” vlan.

My issue is that the P2P connection is unstable. I get a lot of disconnects in the WiFi, and at this moment I have no idea anymore exactly where to troubleshoot.
Can somebody point me in some directions. I think the AccesPoints are pretty good aligned, but they are not very good accessible for me to really check. I’m using the 5GHz range. There are no other access points sending in the same signal.

But the second accesspoints keeps disconnecting. Sometimes the connection works for hours (or well the connection is up. But it will probably not mean that the the DHCP requests will be send over it.
I get a lot of complains that there is no Internet on the behind the P2P connection.

You have to lower transmitting power on your devices.
Signal strenght should be -60 to -50 dBm for best results.

I see some improvements. The strengt is a lot more stable and better if I understand you advice correctly.
But still the remote access point link is very unstable. I notice now even more disconnects of the wifi link. So in a way, its even more unstable. It link yes to be run sometimes for yours. Now its disconnecing every few minutes.

At the moment i have changes yesterday evening the connection to 802.11 and i did not see any disconnects any more on the link.

I have a feeling the P2P connection is not stable yet, because i lose pings to the otherside. I have a ping running every min that pings some switches on the other side. And this sometimes get no answer. What is strange. Because local P2P (SXT G-5HnD) is sending a ping to the remote P2P device. And i don’t have lose on that one. But the MicroTik Switch behind that remote P2P connection, can’t be pinged alwayes.

And still get some complains about no DHCP IPs on the other side.
