Hello,
We run many remote Mikrotik routers and do upgrades on them using drag and drop in Winbox to upload the new firmware to the router, then reboot it to launch the upgrade.
I am just wondering whether the Mikrotik does any kind of package verification, comparing MD5 checksum or something? Some of our routers are over satellite connections, and I would feel safer triggering an upgrade if I knew the MD5 checksum of the file uploaded to the router matched the one on my system that I uploaded.
Its possible that it does this automatically in which case I do not need to check it manually, but it would be good to know either way if this presents any dangers.
Thanks
