I use rb750GL. the configuration is:
pppoe client (for the internet). in the ip->DNS i configured the DNS servers of my ISP.
I have 8 ipsec tunnels, which are configured in the firewall and on the nat.
All works great for a while. but suddenly I have between 10% to 25% of packet loss when i ping to any ip address (even to the dns server of my isp).
I connected to the internet through just a modem (with a dialer) to test if the problem is from my ISP or my infrastructure, but everything is good. pinging is 100% OK.
Just after my rb750 was off for 10 minutes, i plugged it in again and pinging is ok.
This is the second time it happens to me in one week (i work with mikrotik for 1 week).
Is something not configured ok int firewall maybe???
Did you check the usage?Check the WAN and LAN usage from the interface. If your WAN interface uses maximum bandwidth then you might encounter packet loss.
Are you using web proxy? Sometimes WAN interface might use huge bandwidth due to improper security configuration if web proxy is enabled.
Please upload the snapshot of interface while you encounter packet loss.
