I have RM2011s providing a layer 2 connection between two sites using a PPTP/PPP tunnel to handle full Ethernet frames.
We have VLAN8 on Ether5 which is bridged (PPTP-VLAN8-Bridge) over to the PPTP-client interface.
I am trying to prioritize small packets through the tunnel. I setup a firewall mangle to identify small and large packets for outbound queueing.
I used the VLAN8 interface and packet size but I never get any hits on the rule. I also tried setting the mangle rule against the inbound interface PPTP-VLAN8-Bridge but doesn’t seem to work either
Can anybody tell me if this is supported in V6? or have any thoughts on how best to perform this task.
