Hi,
I’m using an RB5009 as a home router to connect to my ISP. The connection uses PPPoE tagged with vlan 911. This all works fine and has for a while.
My ISP are currently rolling dual stack ipv6 and (though I don’t think my connection’s been activated yet) I’m trying to set up a DHCPv6 client. I believe my settings need to be similar to the author of http://forum.mikrotik.com/t/trouble-setting-up-ipv6/175031/7 as I’m also on Vodafone UK.
I was trying to see if the router was sending DHCPv6 messages which I believe should appear on the pppoe interface as UDP packets on port 546, but I don’t see anything.
I’ve attached my config with a few minor sections removed, is there anything obvious preventing the DHCPv6 messages being sent? Or should I not expect to see the packets like this?
