So, I’ve been using the packet sniffer and Wireshark much more over the last few months. It’s a great combination to see what’s going on in the network. However, I keep running into an issue where the packet sniffer stops unexpectedly. I do not know if it stops sniffing, stops streaming, or both.
The other day, I was sniffing SIP traffic to troubleshoot a problem with our LD provider, and after several restarts, it actually got to the point where it wouldn’t stream anything at all. At first I thought the problem was with Wireshark or the computer it was running on (2012 R2 VM), but I was able to stream from another unit (same model and software).
CCR 1036-12G-4S with ROS 6.19. I will be upgrading as soon as we can establish a maintenance window, but wanted to ask if others have seen similar behavior.
