I have a specific client who wish to place the APs in such a way they fit the current street light cases, which are - black. So I thought I could maybe paint the cases of APs to make them “fit” in the picture. Is it a bad idea, performance wise?
I have only painted sides + rear of a SXT but not the front however following from advice given about painting satellite dish’s it is suggested to use a matt paint and not metallic ?
I found a brand of non metallic spray paint made for plastic. It was cheap, I found it at Walmart. It’s called Fusion for Plastic. It came in a limited set of colors: green, brown, beige, camouflage green and a few others. I can’t remember if black was an option.
I’ve used it a few times. Took signal readings before and after, didn’t notice any change in performance.
