It is up to you, the general consensus on the forum is that (when they can be used) the wifi-qcom-ac drivers are "better", but if everything works for you in a satisfying manner there is no real reason to change AFAICT.
And yes, once you are satisfied with your setup, do make an export, even if it won't ever be needed in normal use/upgrade it may come useful if (hopefully not) you will need to make a reset or a netinstall.
BTW, you are now using an outdated "long term" release, 7.23.5 was shortly lived (some 11 days):
7.23.6 [long-term] is released!
