I’m a newbie to Dude. I installed it and started to work with it. I’m a client on a network. When i make a simple network in dude, it shows my machine is partially down.
Please tell me reasons to partially down my server.
open up the machine and check what services is it monitoring. you probably didn’t tell Dude what services you want to look for, so it’s trying to monitor WWW or some other service that you don’t have. You can either open up each device and configure which services to monitor, or set default behavior when making a scan or a new map
I used default settings in services. But the problem is my device shows as “Partially down” and many clients that on the network in “up” status. I also tested the “ping” tool to check whether i can communicate via network. it is working. So my connections are ok.
Why’s my device is still on partially down status.
