I am a wisp, my entire backbone is bridged with 10.10.10.0/24 subnet for the bridged equipment. At each node/tower we are going to have a mikrotik router doing pppoe access to the clients. I have it to the point where it will dish out some private and some public addresses to the customers, where each tower will have thier own nat for the private addresses, and proxy arp for the public addresses. Both get on the internet and have speed shaping, works well. However the problem I encounter now is that we cannot admin the wireless gear behind the mikrotik router, as it will not be a pppoe client. How do I punch holes in the router to allow the subnet for the wireless equipment through so I can admin it. So far here are the subnets used.
Backbone wireless gear (10.10.10.0/24)
Public Addresses (65.87.256.0/24)
Private Addresses at each tower (10.10.100.0/24 - 10.10.110.0/24)
Wireless gear behind mikrotik routers (access points - client devices) (192.168.100.0 - 192.168.110.0)
Is this a correct way to set it up? If not any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will attach a visio drawing later today.
