Passthrough Hotspot without authenticating...

I have a Wireless Hotspot and I want to pass-through certain MAC addresses through hotspot without them being authenticated.

Its like “xxxxxxx MAC address will get automatically authenticated without Hotspot page being displayed”.

Is it possible to do this ?

Create a user in "/ip hotspot user’ and set the MAC address as name

/ ip hotspot user add name=“xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx” password=“” profile=default disabled=no

where xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx is the desired mac address

Change can mac address come with a common if common undoubtedly !!!
negotiator for the detection situation !!!

This is a problem in hotspot mikrotik and The company did not solve the problem at all

You mean that if a client changes its MAC then it gets automatically authenticated and its insecure ?

no man
can any one search in your wirless network and get mac address any user online in your sever and change mac address
to mac address user and authenticated (hacking hotspot)

ip hotspot ip binding do the job!

I have tried it but no luck..
it still shows the hotspot page to the MAC specified in the username.

what could be the problem ?

you mus activate hotspot login by mac address
to do that go to / ip hotspot profile edit hsprof1 login-by
and add mac

man in ip bindings type the mac and address to address will be the same addreess 10.5.50.100/32 for examples server choose ur serer and in type choose bypassed

off course you can do it with ip bindings.
if You want ,You can do it direct trough firewall.

What if we are using Radius authentication? How do we do MAC-authentication?

never do mac auth,
its totally insecure and hackable.

it is also inconvenient,
use hotspot or pppoe

like everyone said, tried that mac login once , but even i can hacked into my system! i can list almsot 10 free mac spoof programs, i prefer to use pppoe auth. instead of hotspot if you want to eleminate the login problems, but then u need to use ros based cpe’s.
