Passthrough lte and slave interface.

Hello!
I use RBSXTR v6.43.2. I cannot turn on LTE Passthrough function. I get error that “Passthrough interface can not be slave!”. If I understand correctly problem is in bridge mode?!? When I disable bridge a lost connections with device… where can be the problem?

Please clarify what you want to achieve. If you need passthrough, you can’t have other config and bridges, it will just pass the address through, like the name says. If you need access to unit and other configuration, you probably don’t need passthrough

I need use RBSXTR like ISP, where IP configuration is applied directly to the client device.I need configurationa where router will not get IP configuration from the modem.

Can anyone explain the best way to configure the RBSXTR in a passthrough configuration?

I would like to have a DHCP client on my 2011 which receives the public IP from the ISP.

Hello,

I’ve got same issue. When trying to do IP passthrough from LTE to Ethernet port I’m getting:

“Passthrough interface can not be slave!” when trying to choose a router to receive IP from MikroTik RB912R-2nD-LTm&R11e-LTE-US LTE

Hi Jason,

Your ethernet interface is probably on a bridge. If you remove the ethernet interface from the bridge then you can enable passthrough on that interface. WARNING: removing/disabling the bridge will probably cause you to lose connectivity if it is on the same interface as you are using to configure. I am currently undergoing the same issue.
